Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you so very much for all of your visits over this past year. It certainly has been a year for the record books! Whatever you are up to today, be you on your own or in a small gathering of family such as we are doing here,  may your day be blessed with the spirit of Peace and filled with joy. May you get to eat something which fills your belly with contentment and pleasure.

I am looking forward to sharing another year of good food and recipes with you in the coming days. In the meantime, be blessed and have a wonderful day!

As a fellow Canadian lover of all things British who lives in Montreal, I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading your stories and checking out your recipes. The food you post always looks delicious, and I know for a fact that it also tastes delicious, having tried out a number of your recipes! Hearing your stories is like sitting down for a nice chat with you, it feels so down to earth and relatable.
I wish you the very best for 2021 and look forward to another year of exploring life and good food with you :)

  5. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing recipes and history behind them. I have tried several and oh they are delicious. My grandson (16 yrs) especially LOVES those muffins filled with jam. He requests them all the time. Looking forward to the recipes you have for us in 2021. Linda..from Blue Ridge Mtns., Virginia

  7. I am late in Christmas greetings, having taken a few days off. But you were in our hearts and at our table on Christmas Eve when we made your tourtiere recipe! We didn't make the crust quite bit enough to look elegant but oh, it tasted so good! We'll do it again. Here's to a new year. I'm sure you are maybe even more glad than most of us to turn the page to 2021. Where can we go but up?!
