I was recently sent all of the ingredients to create a delicious Christmas Holiday Dessert from the people at Carte D'Or. Christmas Pudding Sundaes. Because of my diabetes, desserts are pretty much off the menu for me, but there is nothing at all to stop the Toddster from enjoying all the desserts he wants. Life just isn't fair sometimes!
They arrived in the cutestly done up little basket . . .
Everything I needed plus the recipe and a voucher to go and buy the ice cream. Yum!
My photos are not the best and don't really do justice to this dessert. (I hate the natural light this time of year.) And not having tasted this myself, I can only tell you what Todd said . . . "That's really nice!"
Which translated into non man speak means . . . "That's flippin' fantastic!" He is a man of few words is our Todd . . . and if he says something is nice, he means really nice.
Quick, easy, simple to make and tasty. What more could you ask for in a holiday dessert? Not a heck of a lot I don't think!

Serves 4Carte D'Or has a whole range of ice cream products . . . which include seven different flavours of luxurious ice cream (a light one as well), six Gelateria, and two fabulously delicious looking ice cream logs. Do check out their web page to find out more. They also have a lovely range of recipes available there in order for you to use their products in a fabulously tasty way as well as offering the option of purchasing their products online. Otherwise their products are available in all of the main grocery shops here in the UK. (Their Blueberry and Pistachio Friand Recipe is calling my name.)
Many thanks to Carte D'Or for providing me with this opportunity. Merry Christmas!
What fun Marie to receive such a neat recipe and ings:)
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun recipe to make Monique. All the ingredients were in lovely little glass bottles etc. which of course I will find handy for so many other things! xo
DeleteThis sounds so good! I make a Christmas pudding here in the states that was handed down from my husband's family on Prince Edward Island, Canada. This will be a great way to have some leftovers. Lisa
ReplyDeleteYou can never have too many recipes to use up all your leftovers Lisa!! I make my MIL's Carrot Pudding that came from PEI too. xo
